Effect of level of Progesterone in Women who is trying to conceive

In women who is trying to conceive it is very important that Progesterone level is maintained.

In women with very , low level of progesterone it can cause irregular periods in the women and will lead to inability of the women to become pregnant

The exact date of ovulation can be found if and only if the periods are regular in the individual. So the chance for finding the ovulation date and trying to conceive at those days is difficult as a result of irregular periods

Also a Women who is trying to conceive with low levels of Progesterone even if she try to conceive and become pregnant there is a higher risk of miscarriage.

Usually the progesterone helps the uterus maintain the pregnancy and if the women does not have enough progesterone, then it will also be difficult to maintain the pregnancy.

. After one of the 2 ovaries in the individual releases an egg, then naturally the progesterone levels should rise in the women . Progesterone specifically helps the uterus of the individual to thicken in anticipation of receiving the fertilized egg which will come to the uterus . The implantation of egg will not take take place if the uterus is not thickened and this will not happen without the help of Progesterone so if a women with low level of Progesterone it is difficult to conceive
