Estrogen and progesterone plays vital role during pregnancy.To maintain a healthy pregnancy,this two hormones play key role.Estrogen and progesterone level are very high during pregnancy due to its requirements.Estrogen helps the uterus and placenta in formation of their blood vessels.so,estrogen plays a vital role in maturation of fetal.Progesterone is also known as ' pregnancy hormone'.progesterone helps the fertilised egg to be implanted on uterus.placenta,adrenal gland produce progesterone during pregnancy.it also helps in prevention of miscarriage which is a common problem among pregnant women.option 1 is correct,during pregnancy estrogen and progesterone level are very high in women.

A few days after child birth there is drop in estrogen and progesterone level.placenta produces most of the progesterone hormone ,after pregnancy placenta is removed as a result there is much drop in progesterone level.estrogen level also drop after child birth because it interferes a lot with the milk production.option 2 is also incorrect as few days after childbirth there is drop in estrogen and progesterone level.

It is clear from above explanation,Progesterone and estrogen levels are high during pregnancy and low after child birth.so ,3rd option that is they will remain same during pregnancy and childbirth is incorrect.
