mention the kinds of academic essay
There are four kinds of Academic writings are-
1. Explorative- an essay that attempts to inform the reader about something important, or describe a process, a set of rules, the benefits of activity, etc. Some examples are business or technical essays, reaction essays, process writings, response essays, compare or contrast essays, and often research based essays.
2. Descriptive- writings or essays that use vivid language to describe about a person, place, or event so that the reader can understand the topic clearly in his or her mind. The most commonly use descriptive essays are fiction and poetry or sometimes they only attempt to serve the descriptive purpose.
3. Narrative- these essays tell the reader about a particular event or events that took place in past. Common narrating essays are: personal essays, short stories, poetry, novels, etc.
4. Persuasive- essay that takes a stand on a principle, mostly controversial issues and attempts to persuade the reader to adopt a similar mindset. At the collegiate level, these essay assignments are common. The most common persuasive essay is the argument paper.
