1. GENE : It is the unit of heredity which is transferred from a parent to offspring and is held to determine some characteristic of the offspring.
2. Active site of enyme is the location for the reactant to bind.
3. The enyme works on a reactant called substrate which is converted into product.
4. Fat has the most energy per gram ( 37kJ/9kcal ).
5. Our cells are able to convert energy from food only in the presence of oxygen(O2) that process is called as cellular respiration.
6. Activation energy is required for an enzyme to start the reaction. High activation energy means the reaction require more energy as compared to other reactions.
7. An exothermic reaction is a chemical reaction that release enery through light or heat. It require high energy releasing reactant.
8. Sidium-potassium pump is an example of active transport because enery is required to move the sodium and potassiu agaist the concentration gradient .
9. all gates in the sodium channel react to +30mv.
10. Passive transport does not require energy therefore it move along the concentration gradient that is fron high cocentration to low concentration.
11. EPSP- excitatory postsynaptic potential is a post synaptic potential that make the neuron fire an action potential.
