It is important to note that active learning contain aspects of frequent feedback, attention, participation and discussion. It helps in the development of critical thinking. On the other hand, passive learning takes place by the presentation of information. The control is with the teacher. For passive learning the teacher has to organize and present the topic that she will be teaching.
