How important is it for men and women to adhere to gender role stereotypes? Would violating gender role stereotypes inevitably lead to bullying in grade school for youths and teasing or stares from others as adults? How should such rude and discriminatory behavior be handled? Can it be prevented?
I don't think so it is important to stick to the roles of stereotypes. Men and women should do work of each other. In this today's globalized world men should learn the art of raising kids, cooking and doing household chores whereas women should step out and do the work. It is not easy as it seems to be, because there are many people of traditional mindsets who also raise their children with the same mindset, they can gossip or pass comments etc. This every situation has two sides, some people appreciate exchange of roles while others do not agree. Today media is playing an important role including movies, street acts whi show exchange roles and how helpful it is. One way to handle this is by discussion with these people about how roles can be different and why it is important to exchange roles. Another common way is ignoring them nd doing whtatever you want. This can naturally be prevented by educationg children right at school age so that they can practise or tell their parents about the same.
