There are some responsibilities that a compnay should undertake in order to avoid sexual harassment at work place - organizing workshops, programmes in order to make employees aware of sexual harassment and its penalty. which may extend upto 50,000/- Sexual harassment would comprise of following things - verbal abuse that pulls down people because of sex, showing adult cartoos, making adult jokes, unwelcoming touching or hugging, demanding sexual services, etc. Such behaviour should not be confused with the friendly behaviour.

In India there is an act against such harrasment known as sexual harassment act 2013 and it inclides all the women including clients, domestic workers, contractual employees, volunteers, trainees and interns. When the company is having more than 10 employees then anto harassment commitee is to be formed in India, wherein a woman chiars the commitee

As far as gender discrimination is concerned, it mostly targeted at women, women in this era are also considered as weak and hence they are often the victims of such harassment over to male. Considering weak is equivalent to stereotyping. The people who intiate such activities are normally full of energy and do not know how to channelize their energy, they are unafraid or unaware of the law, they usually like to display their power overall. And hence they would go on taunting about physical features, crack dirty jokes just to display their power over others. These are definately the traits of negative personality.

Case study - Queensland Anti Discrimination Tribunal act- a complaint was made by part time worker who held up a job in hardware business, her boss used to touch her, ask her for drink, used to make phone calls, The tribunal found that employer was liable for this act upon the comlaint she made to supervisor. The complaint was awarded damages of 24,425 USD
