Sexual harrasement at work place is bullying, touching inappropriately, passing sexual comments, promising a hype in salary or promotion iniexchange of sexual pleasure.

It has been found that roughly 79% of victims are women, 21% are men. Objectifying women, stereotyping etc could be the reason for this. Let's understand this in detail:

Gender Discrimination: It's an idea that men and women aren't equal. Sex discrimination although predominantly an issue for women, can sometimes be directed to men as well.

Stereotyping means forming a particular view about someone based on the gender. As women are often believed to be less smarter than men, they are supposed to be housemakers, they are supposed to care for the family not work etc all these factors leads to the stereotyping behavior of people at work.

Other factors is Objectifying women. It means to simply look at women as sexual objects, nothing more than that. The reason could be media to some extent as it often shows women to be sensuous, glamorous and vulnerable.

Another reason could be fixed gender related roles taught to us since childhood. Where men are taught to be brave strong, women are expected to be loving, caring and less outgoing.

Political Agenda is a list of problems to which the government as well as people outside government pays attention.

Government is paying attention to gender discrimination and it has reduced but not completely over.

Negative personality traits are as follows:

Dishonesty, disloyalty, disrespectful, controlling behavior, cowardice, cruel, addictive, aggeressive, alcoholic, hypocritical, evil, pessimistic, selfish, stubborn and so on.
