Equal employment opportunities are the main spirit of any workplace which is in the accordance with the democratic constitution of any evolved country. Providing equal employment opportunity ensures that those who are top performers are rewarded well in the organization and their career progression moves with right pace and direction.

Performance evaluation process is a separate stream or section of a human resource policy, which ensures that employees working for that organization are evaluated for their contribution to attain the organization deliverables. Process and techniques for performance evaluation is determined by various metrics or factors such as-

Performance management program as a part of appraisal- Making this as a formal and structured program pays rich dividends to all employees and organization alike.

Interaction with reporting manager on regular basis to improve the employee performance- Continuous interaction with a reporting manager ensures that employee is on right path of his or her career. If this interaction is organized more frequently then it can help manager and employee in equal measures.

Devising or introducing the new performance evaluation tool which can gauge the employee’s performance on regular basis – Timely evaluation also ensures that employees who are not up to the mark and lagging in some traits are also taken into the consideration and they are put under workshops and sessions to improve their skills.

Performance improvement programs (PMP)- Hence, employees, who are not doing well due to some trivial reasons, should also be encouraged to improve their performance. To make it happen, various performance improvement programs (PMP) are introduced and it is helping the employee in a significant way.
