A group of researchers wants to evaluate the impact of a smoking cessation intervention on 50 cardiac patients at the outpatient clinic at a hospital, and compare that to another 50 cardiac patients from another hospital who did not receive the smoking cessation intervention. Explain you answer please.
Write one research hypothesis, and one null.
The randomized controlled trials evaluated the efficacy of smoking cessation in cardiac patients. it compares the nonsmoking cessation intervention cardiac patient from outpatient settings and compares with smoking cessation intervention patients using nicotine patches and gum and behavioral therapy like telephone interview, counseling, etc. they included high-risk group populations and the general population for their trial. they include a 3 to 12 months trial with each therapy session 20 to 150 minutes with followup data. there was a possible outcome with nonintervention and intervention outcomes., but null hypothesis in a high proportion of smoking cessation intervention and than nonintervention group, smoking cessation intervention group take long time and duration and has a high benefit with using smoking cessation therapy than without using therapy it made the population with a high risk of their health and reduce the benefit with insufficient data for a conclusion. smoking cessation therapy intervention showed a safe profile.
