Yes, I do believe that more companies today should enforce and invest more in a social media care team as the social media today has the great potential to represent the face of the organization and its business. These days customers can login to the company portals through social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter etc. which showcases the company’s brand. Many times, if any customer is not happy with the services of any company they complaint to the customer service and post complaints online on social media, to have a quick response on their queries. For practical purposes, the companies have advantage to reach to the broader population. More companies today are utilizing a social media care team as social media can help the company to accomplish various business goals and objectives such as attract the customer to visit company portal and this increases the site traffic, increase in retention of customers, support customer help desk, to build strong brand awareness, helps to increase in sales, communication becomes transparent and prompt (with ease), maximizes the personal branding, Follow-ups with customers becomes easy and immediate.
