Solutions

Expert Solution

Socioeconomic class is derived from two words social+economic. It is the combination of social and economics status in the society. It describes your position in the society in terms of income, occupation, political participation etc. Socioeconomic class is divided in three parts upper class, middle class and lower class. Therefore if you are rich and living the luxurious life, you belong to upper class. Factors of socioeconomic class are income, education, social status, political participation. In society we define people based on the above factors. If they have good educational background, good income then there are the chances that they have good mental health and good standard of living.

We live in a society where people belong to different cultures, income status, different educational background. For smooth running, we need to take everyone together. Most of the people belong to the middle class. My attitude and attitude of my family has been very normal towards other class. We think it is all about opportunities. People belong to lower class are generally unable to grab opportunities relates to educations because of scarcity of resources and hence they hang in the same situation. Their economic conditions are not favourable to go ahead. with upper class they have pool of opportunities to grab also they are economically well. But we consider everyone equal. Everyone is the part of society and everyone is producing and providing economic services to generate income regardless of their class. Everyone's motive is to earn and to have best according to the capacity. We have many friends and it is not necessary that they belong to same class and we too have differences but we think that if we meet people from different class, we will learn more about life. They have different life experience and have different pool of thoughts and it is quit interesting to know about them, about their thinking towards different things. Therefore my family always appriciates it.
