Power is the ability of guiding the members in the same group by its own way of good leadership. It should save the members from the period of crisis, It influences all the benefits through sustained efforts of good team work. Let us discuss the given two scenarios.
1) Condition of having applied good power with the interaction of the group members. In the world every group members has same type of qualities. But it is not mandatory that all members will obey the rules of the leader who was vested with power. So in order to avoid such difficulties every member should interact with each other and avoid clashes in the group. They should know the rules and regulations of their respective group. Let us explain the condition of using my own power when i used to interact with other members with coordial relationship. When i was working as team coordinator in my company, My team members faced lack of concentration power to deliver their work on time due to work pressure. On that situation my immediate supervisors instructed me to apply micromanagement techniques on them to get good output of the work. But in contrary i discussed each one of them individually and asked their issues. i recorded their issues in my personal workbook and tried to solve them very quickly. I worked out following steps to solve the issue. 1) I sat with them and i supported them in their work. 2) They itself pinpointed their own negative points and tried to produce their output within stipulated time. 3) I encouraged them by distributing prizes, taking them to out for dining, cinemas, park, etc. for one week. 4) Though mistakes was happened when they handled huge volume of data, but instead of penalizing them i encouraged them to do better. Atlast supervisors apprecaited our team work. We got appreciation from the on-shore clients and also we got Best Team Award from the manangement executives.
2) Condition of not having sufficient power with the interaction of the group members. The Power of the leadership should always the positive focus on its ability. If the leadership miss the positive focus, it leads to negative impact among members of internal group. Such a negative power may badly hit the possible outcome of the output in the working environment. If i exercise the powerless ability in the group the following effects will be reflected among the group. I will explain with facts as the second scenario. 1) If i itself having without self-esteem and self confidence, then i cannot able to absorb the weakness among the members who lacks in working sharpness to deliver the output on time. 2) having confused state on how to deal with the problem and without any proper plan of adjusting will lead to poor performance of the exercizing power. 3) When i having the poor quality of diplomatic handling. i.e., such as insulting the members in front of others when do mistakes in the work instead of interacting with them in a separate place and lending full support to them. 4) finally not acting as a gap between the management and the members. It will lead to misunderstanding the real issues absorbed within the members in the work environment.
