1) You were the top student in your physiology class last semester. For this reason, your professor has asked that you prepare some lectures for her physiology class this semester. Specifically, she would like you to discuss the similarities and differences between the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, in terms of pressure gradients and fluid flow.
Explain how will you describe the role of the following structures: the pump and the tubes.
2) List, compare, and contrast the locations and stimuli for respiratory chemoreceptors.
Physiology is the field of science that deals with the function mechanism of living system year this is mainly focused on how organisms and organ systems carry the physical and chemical functions in the living system. A normal living creature covers a different range of topic including organ, anatomy, and biological compound. This includes the maintenance of relatively stable internal physiological conditions like body temperature and different environmental conditions. An experimental form of a scientific discipline that uses medicine and related health services. They provide an understanding of the body function which can be more effective and related to any abnormal or disease.
1.similarity between the cardiovascular and respiratory systems involves the functioning of both functions to provide oxygen to the body. The work together for the circulation of blood as well as oxygen throughout the body. This is the process in which the blood move in and out of the lungs with the help of Pulmonary arteries and vein.
Cardiovascular and respiratory system in terms of pressure gradient and fluid flow pressure at a specific location. This is enough to form the relationship between the velocity and pressure gradient. In the circulatory system, the blood flows with the high-pressure area in the same direction with decreasing pressure gradient and blood flow. The pressure gradient in the respiratory system is proportional to the length that achieved with the tube that in proportion toward the length of the tube.
The role of the pump and the tube involves the human respiratory cavity which carries the oxygen to the entire body. The contract and pump blood in the lungs for the oxygenation process. The pumping and tubes play an important role in the process of oxygenation and movement of blood to the lungs.
2. The location and stimuli for the respiratory chemoreceptors involve the ventral lateral surface of the medulla oblongata that was detected in the fluid of the spine. This is related to chronic hypoxia and enhanced carbon dioxide. The respiratory chemoreceptors are sensitive form to change the carbon dioxide concentration that helps to stimulate bleeding.
