Type 1 diabetes |
Type 2 diabetes |
1. Cholelithiasis is the presence of gallstones, which are concretions that form in the biliary tract, usually in the gallbladder.
Acute cholecystitis is an inflammation of the gallbladder which can be due to bacterial infection
2. Acute viral hepatitis is the inflammation of the liver and liver injury due to viral infection such as hepatitis virus causing liver damage.
Acute Alcoholic hepatitis is the injury to liver due to consumption of the alcohol.
3. Glycogenesis is the formation of glucose from glucose monomer.
Glycogenolysis is the breakdown of glycogen to glucose.
4. type I diabetes is the juvenile onset insulin dependent diabetes occuring due to damage to the beta cell of the pancreas with absolute deficiency of the insulin in the blood. The respond to insulin therapy.
Type II diabetes is the adult onset, insulin independent diabetes occurring due to resistance of the insulin on the target cells leading to hyperglycemia. Insulin level is normal or increased hence insulin therapy is not effective.
