i. The manufacturing cost of the widgets your company makes has dropped by 50%. One of your customers, Sam, tells you he knows this because he is best friends with your company’s Vice President of production and asks you for a discount on his order. Your boss accepts this request. Your other customer, Sue (who is one of your best friends and knows nothing about the drop in manufacturing costs), places the exact same order for widgets as Sam. Do you offer her a similar discount? Do you tell her about the drop in manufacturing costs?

ii. You are a working student, a manager of a company. Your company has engaged you for a whole month, so you have not had enough time to focus on completing and submitting your assignment. You have 48 hours to submit a 3,000 words assignment. Your classmate has offered to do your assignment for you, but your religious values does not permit you to allow this academic misconduct. What will you do?

  1. Transparency - Leaders should maintain transparency in the team affairs .
  2. Communication - Effective and swift communication is very important in a team which a leader should possess
  3. Initiative - Initiative is also an important element . A leader should be able to take initiatives during the tasks.
  4. Responsibility - A leader should be ready to take responsibility for the team on his or her behalf .
  5. Proper delegation - A leader should know how to delegate power in a team environment properly and efficiently
  6. Creativity and confidence - a leader should be able to think creatively for the team and should have the confidence to convey the idea to the team
  7. Giving opportunity to everyone - A good leader should practice inclusivity in the tem and everyone should be given a chance and everyone should be heard in the team .

In the present situation as the company has already given discount to sam because of the fallen manufacturing costs . Everyone should be given a discount . Sue should also be given discount . This is because of the fair selling practices . If it is not done then it will come under unethical selling behavior . To promote eqaulity in the the areas and treating every customer with dignity and equality is important ,

I will let my friend help me with the assignment . This is because of the simple reason that I made this decision: there are no consequences not for my friend and also not for me . While talking about the religions views sometimes we have to talk practically and what is feasible in the situation we have to go with it . Compromise can be made no harm is being done to anyone .
