Service Excellence = Design x Culture (Uncommon Service) In your opinion, is Design or Culture more important in the pursuit of Operational Excellence? Explain your answer
In my opinion, among design and culture, Culture can be more important for organizational excellence. It may be because cultural aspects helps an organisation to sustain its excellence. Employees may change their behaviour as well as their goals so that they can be more cultural oriented. An organisation can implement new training methods or can change the reward system to bring new change in the culture of the organization. If the managers can truely able to understand the culture of the organization, then it would be much easier for them to gain organizational excellence. As culture in an organisation means innovation, values, goals and objectives which can directly lead to the organizational excellence. Also a good cultural workplace has high performing employees with much talent and skills, it can be determined that without corporate culture it can be very difficult to promote organizational excellence as well as spontaneous improvement.
