Polymerization of globular (G)-actin to filamentous (F)-actin
occurs during capacitation,
(F) -actin formation is important for the transloction of
phospholipase C from the cytoplasm to the sperm plasma membrane
during capacitation.
(F) -actin should undergo depolymerization prior to acrosome
reaction , which enable the fusion of acrosomal membrane and
overlying plasma membrane.
