Information System:Information system is the combination of hardware, software and telecommunication networks that people build to create, collect and distribute useful data, typically in an organisation.
The main objective of Information System is to provide the actual information to the user, to collect and analyzing the data, and communicate information to the user of the system.
Parts of an Information System:
1.Hardware:The components which is used for input, output, processors, media devices are come under this category. The features of these components is depend on the requirement of the user or an organisation.
2.Software:In the system,we require a tool to deal with the hardware components which is nothing but a software(which is program).Software is used for processing and analyzing the data.
3.Database:A database is an organized collection of data, generally stored and accessed by the users or organisation to complete their task. When databases are more complex they are often developed using formal design and modeling techniques.
4.Network:Networks is like path used for transferring the data from one location to another location.Telecommunications networks consist of computers, communications processors, and other devices interconnected by communications media and controlled by software.
5.Human Resource:In order to run and maintain the system we require manpower.People are the end users which uses information produced for their purpose.End users may be professional in any field.
