Solutions

Expert Solution

1. An information system integrates and organizes part network, which act together to turn data into information.Essentially, an information system comprises of five components: equipment, program, database, network and people. These five components combine for input, process, output, feedback and control efficiency. The knowledge program should be categorized according to the application of the details in any particular entity. Therefore an information system may be split into operations support system and management support system inside an organisation.

Hardware comprises of tools for input / output, cpu, operating system, and computer. Software consists of various programs and procedures. Database is composed of data arranged in the form needed. The network comprises of nodes, communication media, and network equipment. Information management requires input; data collection, data storage, and control. Throughout the input stage data instructions are fed to the systems which software programs and other queries operate on during the process stage. Data shall be provided in standardized format and reports during the production level.

2. Yes.This is because an Information system can be broken into Data,People,Network,Hardware and Software. All these together makes up an Information system.

3.The Automation boundary is the distinction between a system's automatic component and the system's manual portion.A barrier to automation is essentially a line drawn through one or more systems. The aim is to combine the processes that are enclosed by an abstraction limit to create a common system or protocol. Notice that a series of constraints to automation determines a family of alternatives.
