Discuss the difference between teams and groups. Give an example of how each of these exist in the place where you work.
Team can be defined as a group of people who have a specific
task to work under an organisation. Teams have specific goals and
achievements to make while operating under an organisational
structure.
Promotional team working for creating promotional strategies in an
organisation can be considered as a fine example of Team. They have
a goal to design equipment as well as to decide the place and the
structure of the promotional event for the organisation.
Group can be defined as structure of different people involved
in a similar situation with no specific task or responsibility
given to them. Groups can have different people from different
departments working in different sectors but sharing the same
group.
Group of peons in an organisation can be considered as a fine
example of groups. They are there to serve all the people inside
the birthplace but does not have any specific area to work but have
similar responsibility it's distributed on the basic
understanding.
