Expert Solution

  • Almost everyday the political parties and especially the one in power in India makes emotional appeals to people in order to influence their votes. During the state elections, praising the state and the hospitality of people along with showcasing some fake tears in the speech made me and a lot of other people believe that the party would do something for the state. Preaching of the ideology of working together and being each others support and that the affection of common people will make the party stronger and work harder were all false emotional appeals and promises.
  • The development in my state has been worse,no imporovements have been made, infrastructure is bad, shops are being sealed and people are losing their jobs all in the name of just getting votes and winning the elections. Advertising appeals and doing speeches on televison made me believe in their ideology but after seeing the situation currently with my own eyes everyday it was a mistake. Now,ofcourse after being fooled once,I dont really listen to anything and make my decision based on my understanding and research whether its buying a product or voting for a party.
