What were some of the ways you learned about the political establishment through family members and friends? How were you politically socialized as a child? 1. I learned about the political establishment through my family members and friends in various ways. When I grew up, my family members taught me the rules and norms of political life along with values of life. Gradually, when I became young, learned several things from my surrounding and came to understand my role and fit myself into our political culture. I started to learn political concepts from my parents, teachers and discuss the same with my friends to acquire more knowledge, beliefs and values that enable me to comprehend government and politics. By utilizing limited political knowledge what I had, develop a feeling that we belong to a unique nation in which people possess some fundamental rights and duties to lead a better life.


Parents who use their voting rights to cast their vote in every election often influence their children to vote in elections. I was also influenced by my family members to participate in the voting system in my young age.When I was young, I see my friends volunteering in the community, helping the needy people, at that time I decided to join with them and learned various political, social and economic conditions of our society. I came to learn about political establishment through conversation with family members, watching television,movies, reading newspaper, magazines, joining in a social media group or chating with friends


2. As a child I was politically socialized by learning political behavior, attitudes, values from my family members. I see my parents are talking about current government, political situations in the country, role of government in various economic crises and about a lot of happenings in the country, at that time I listen to them silently and ask various questions to acquire more knowledge about it.


Political socialization is the process of learning political behavior, attitudes, and values by the help of various agents, such as family, friends, electronics and paper media. As a child I was politically socialized by learnings various political concepts from my parents, peers, and watching television. I learn and develop political thoughts which I discuss with my peer groups and parents to make myself more clear about this concept. I started to study political community and acquired more knowledge about government and politics. Gradually, I came to know about the voting system, democracy, political hierarchy, rules and regulations of the country from my family members and teachers. By learning this, I came to realize the rights and responsibilities of a good citizen and try to follow it in my life.
