Most amphibians and all frogs reproduce sexually. Fertilization in frog occurs externally, using a type of mating called amplexus.
The organs of the female frog reproductive system are ovaries and oviducts.
The organs of the male reproductive system are a pair of testes and vasa efferentia.
The ureters of kidney functions as a urinogenital duct.
The organs of the excretory system are kidneys, ureter and cloaca.
In the frog, offspring develop in several stages: the egg first develops into a larval stage, called a tadpole which then undergoes a process called metamorphosis to become a small version of the adult form.
