The correct answer is option :Litigation

The major forms of alternative dispute resolution are arbitration, negotiation and mediation. These are alternative methods to resolve dispute without the involvement of court.Let us understand these methods briefly.

Arbitration is an alternative dispute resolution method which is not formal, and involves an arbitrator, who is an experienced person or a retired judge .The two parties that have conflict present their facts and witnesses to the arbitrator ,who decides the final outcome of the dispute.

Mediation is a method which involves a mediator, who is neutral to either parties of the conflict, and helps both the parties to determine a resolution that is mutually agreed upon.

Negotiation is a method where the two parties in conflict discuss and settle the dispute themselves and arrive at a resolution that is agreeable to both the parties.

Litigation is method where the parties decide to settle the dispute in the court and hence it is not an alternative dispute resolution method.
