The objective behind this is to have a diverse workforce at the company as it facilitates innovative thinking and helps to make an overall competitive advantage in the market.

Dear Employees,

With the innovation of technology and increase in the level of awareness, most companies have become ardent advocates of diversity and inclusion. Nowadays, most multinational companies appreciate the employees coming up and this gives companies a positive employer brand.

· A description of legal issues:

Gender issues: All types of gender issues get sorted and the company gives equal opportunities and offers to all.

People with disability: Companies are making special changes to include disabled people in their workforce. These types of employees are specifically referred to as people with special ability and should be treated positively by the company and employees as well.

Minorities and immigrants: Immigrants can develop minority consciousness and minority behaviour in the organization. During the process of integration, it is the political and social context which in the long run decide about the formation of a minority group.

Changing workforce: People prefer companies which have flexible functions and policies and which don't have any bias or discrimination. So the companies need to increase their diversity to attract the people.

· Explanation of the current state of this issue:

The challenges that a company faces while managing the diversity are as follows:

1. Increasing rate of sexual discrimination and sexual harassment.

2. Ethnic and cultural dissimilarity among the employees and company.

3. Variance work style of employees may lead to conflict.

Recently, the workplace has observed various cases of employee harassment and exploitation. Employees are getting exploited for

reasons such as sexual favours, discrimination, and others.

Any kind of harassment is considered illegal under the US government.

So, as the HR Director, it is my duty to make the policies more stringent and stricter for the company to avoid such harassments.

There are some factors because of which workplace violence and harassment cases don't become public. The reasons are as follows:

Companies should save their reputation and compromise with the situation.

Most employees hesitate to talk about such cases which they may have experienced.

Civil Rights Act 1964, highlights the impact of any kind of sexual harassment at the workplace. Any kind of harassment with the employees is not justified and it is the duty of the employer to take action against the accused.

Title 7th of Civil Rights Act 1964 plays an important role in the workplace harassment and discrimination cases. Any kind of discrimination with the employees on any kind of bias such as sex, race, and religion are strictly prohibited under this title.

· Company will address that issue as below description:

All cases should be treated with the same standard by the company management and investigation committee and have to delve in detail to find the facts. And if the harassment is proved, then a stringent action must be taken by the company to punish the accused to give justice to the victim.

Usually the company should ask the accused to leave the job without giving any kind of benefits.
