SIMPLE COLUMNAR EPITHELIUM- Found in stomach, small intestine, large intestine. Function is to secrete and absorb substances from the intestine.
PSEUDOSTRATIFIED COLUMNAR EPITHELIUM- membranous part of vas deferens, prostate, respiratory epithelium. The function is secretion and absorption.
AEROLAR CONNECTIVE TISSUE- seen around blood vessel, nerve bundles. Their function is to hold the structure in place.
ADIPOSE TISSUE- beneath the skin, bone marrow. Their function is to store energy in the form of lipids.
RETICULAR TISSUE- found around the liver, kidney, spleen. Thier function is to stabilize the organ and provide structural support to it.
DENSE REGULAR CONNECTIVE TISSUE- tendons and ligaments. Their function is to transfer the force from muscle and bone.
DENSE IRREGULAR CONNECTIVE TISSUE- Skin, sclera. Their function is to provide strength, making it resistant against tearing.
HYALINE CARTILAGE- found in ribs, larynx, nose. Function is support and flexibility to the body structure.
