For designing the software, the business requires a powerful database which can able to keep track of the data and even can able to store the information which the business need. For running the infrastructure, the software must be productive enough to track the changes and at the same time the application should be secured from outside threats. For that purpose, it is really important to secure your database. Both firewall and encryption can help help in securing the infrastructure. Firewall can able to block unwanted traffic that are entering into the system. And encryption would encrypt the valuable information.

The main purpose of the software is to perform all the operation regarding the league and since it has a connectivity to the database, hence data can be passed to the DB.

The hardware requirement totally depends upon the size of the application. More the heavyweight application is more the processing power is required. The application should be a customised application and hence the hardware requirement will totally depends upon the size of the application. In general, it is better to use a latest generation processor along with 32GB RAM for your server.

Again as I have mentioned every thing depends upon the application that the business wants to run. If its a very simple application, then the cost will be less but if the application is having too much customisation then the coat will definitely be more. And even maintenance of the application will also be high. Coming to the hardware part, as per the mentioned configuration, the server would cost around $4000. In that amount a well configured server can be established.
