This term we have studied the Digestive, Nervous, Urinary, Integumentary and Respiratory Systems. For your written assignment this week list the major body systems for these systems. Describe the normal function of each of these and where the anatomically lie in the body. Describe common pathology, including signs, systems and what may cause these disease or condition. Lastly, what diagnostics are there to identify these diseases and conditions, and what treatments are currently available.

The integumentary system is an essential organ system, separating the external environment from the internal environment of the human body. As such, this system protects the body from the invasion of harmful substances, helping to maintain homeostasis. There are many medical procedures that affect the integumentary system, including hair transplants, lipoplasty, rhytidectomy, chemical peels, and collagen injections. Pick an integumentary procedure, from the list above or from another procedure of your choice, and describe it. Describe the reasons an individual...

On a piece of paper, write the following systems: Integumentary Cardiovascular Immune Digestive Respiratory Excretory Nervous Sensory Musculoskeletal Endocrine Reproductive Then, tell me first, does this system derive from ectoderm, mesoderm or endoderm, THEN, tell me what the effect(s) are of aging on that system. For example: Integumentary derives from ectoderm and the effects of aging are that the skin thins and loses collagen resulting in lines and sagging skin.
