Organisations could better the individual motivation and performance of the company by following a corrective communication plan, having the right controlling measures and ensuring more empowerment and involvement of the employees into the decision making.
By making the most effective communication plan into the action, one can recieve and send the right information to motivate, lead and guide the employees in the organisation.
Using the right controlling measures would ensure that the standards set are attainable and also effective for the employees to feel motivated about.
And including the people into the decision making process would give them the opportunity for growth, empowerment which would embark the feeling of motivation and leadership among people for becoming better managers.
Effective measure and technique used by the managers and leaders to ensure the right motivation is given to the employee is a performance appraisal or pay per performance method. In this, managers ensure that the performance of the employees are being retained and maintained as per the standards and norms and for that, the pay is given as good as the performance shown by the employee. Thus, it helps to motivate the employee to get extra pay by showing extra performance level.
One experience I remember where the level of empowerment was felt to take the right decision was the time where the manager in previous company where I was working made me the incharge to take over and make the interns to have the right orientation around. I was appointed as the intern head at that time where I was responsible to lead a group of interns in the company, giving them the right duties and work around the organisation and making the right decisions regarding what work is to be allocated to which intern making me grow as an employee and individual in the organisation.
