Demotivation is a stage when a person gives up striving for the
set goals,he/ she may push back from pursuing the goals.Person may
struggle to achieve and find it difficulty while doing so.A person
can overcome this stage of difficulty and struggle of demotivation
and start building to the goals by:
- Stopping comparison with others and accepting one's uniqueness:
People often in the process of pursuance of goals compare
themselves with the success of other and failures of
themselves.This is healthy if it promotes or helps the person to
see his/ her drawbacks and helps to rectify it,but if a person is
discouraged by one's flaws it hinders the achievement of goals.So
inorder to overcome the discouragement one should accept one's
uniqueness with all its flaws and strenghts. Instead of comparison
make the success stories of others as motivation.
- Facing one's fears with understanding and insight: Everybody
has fears of their own.Fears of failure haunts everybody,one should
learn to acknowledge these fears, find out the causes ,this will
help to understand and will give an insight into the problem
underneath and thus will help it to tackle in a better than running
from it.
- Set up right goals by a reviewing and prioritizing it.The
strategies should be practical yet challenging and satisfying.
- Learning to accept the remorse of past thus, moving out of it.
Also overcoming the grief of loosing a near one sometimes pull back
and demotivates,in such acceptance of the reality helps the person
to overcome it.
