Solutions

Expert Solution

Motivation leads to improvement in performance.

Good performance can lead to getting rewards.

Rewards are given to motivate employees for good performance.

In this way all the three terms are interconnected. If you take care about one term there is a greater possibility that the other two will take care of themselves.

Example ->

An employee is motivated for better performance. For this he has been given counselling sessions and gets a chance to speak with the best leader of the organization.

As the employee is really motivated he performs really well. His contribution leads to significant benefits for the organizations business and revenue.

As the employee has worked really well he has been awarded incentives and an annual bonus. This in turn further motivates the employee to perform well again.

Thus all the three terms are interconnected and complimentary. They can together form a kind of a cycle which is very important for the success of any organization.
