The Jomon archeological phase is a phase between 14500BC-300BC in the Japanese prehistory. This period was rich in tools, potteries and jewelries. They used bows for hunting. But evidences of this period shows a short life expectancy of the inhabitants due to malnutrition. Yayoi phase (300 BCE - 300 CE) incorporated foreign elements and indigenous elements that filtered throughout the later Jomon phase. From this phase the inhabitants started carving, slicing, burning etc. to meet their needs and culture. During 206BCE-220CE some inhabitants of Yayoi migrated to Han dynasties in China and started rice cultivations. Thus a new East Asian culture different from the Jomon period was formed.Buddhist theology and cultivation was the characteristics of East Asian culture. Yayoi cultivators later started developing tools with metals. Later Eastern han was collapsed.Since the beginning of Yayoi phase, East Asian connection formed an agricultural and administrative culture in an effective fashion in Japan. This not only started a cultural change but also made transformation to the environment of Japan archipelago(is a group of islands) and the country of Japan is a group of 6852 islands.
