Transformation leadership is more prevalent in government organizations and lower organization, however, in all countries, organizations and organisations. Second, conclusive evidence indicates that transformative leadership is substantially better than transactions or laissez-faire leadership to predict organizational effectiveness. Whether U.S. presidents, CEOs, school managers or plant managers, transformation leaders appear to be more successful than transactional leaders in driving organizational change and execution.
Leadership of laissez-faire was adversely linked to efficiency. Research demonstrates that leaders are able to improve their constructive and transactional leadership skills systematically. Despite this proof that transformation leaders can be selected and trained, the charisma is ultimately present in the eye of the beholder. Therefore, it can not be ensured that leaders with the right stuff and trained in the correct techniques are seen by followers as charismatic.
