Decision making models usually focus on cognitive, situational, and socio-cultural variables in accounting for human performance. Somehow, emotional component is rarly addressed in those theories. Recent experimental studies show that emotions can have a significant effect on the way we think, decide, and solve problems. Many psychological scientists assume that emotions are the dominant driver of most meaningful decisions in life (e.g., Ekman 2007, Frijda 1988, Gilbert 2006, Keltner & Lerner 2010, Keltner et al 2014, Lazarus 1991, Loewenstein et al 2001, Scherer & Ekman 1984). Decisions serve as the conduit through which emotions guide everyday attempts at avoiding negative feelings (e.g., guilt, fear, regret) and increasing positive feelings (e.g., pride, happiness, love), even when we lack awareness of these processes. ). And once the outcomes of our decisions materialize, we often feel new emotions (e.g., elation, surprise, and regret, Coughlan & Connolly 2001, Mellers 2000, Zeelenberg et al 1998).

Thus emotions play a great role in decision making. We just do those things what we feel right. But sometimes emotional overflow can lead us to take a wrong decision. So we should think logically also. Many things in our life depends on which decision we take today. So, decision must be taken logically, carefully and ofcourse focussing on that which seems correct.
