Answer:

Analysis of the employer’s actions:

The wireless carrier T-Mobile did violation of the United States labor law.

There was restriction of the ability of the workers for organizing and other important rights.

It also did not support the unions and the policies prevented the workers from communication with each other for wages and communicating with the news media about the conditions at workplace.

However the company insisted that there was technical issue pertaining to the law which was related to the common policies to companies across the country.

substantive right they allegedly violated:

There were experts who made an argument that there can be major ramifications due to its sweeping nature and there were complaints made from the facilities of the mobile and the focus was on policies for devising at the corporate level.

Hence the company could not push away the responsibility.

Actions should the company take to mitigate or prevent this situation in the future:

The company should take actions to prevent this from happening in the future by paying attention to the rules and the policies that are important for the company and the employees.

There were certain employees who even complained of being discriminated on the basis of gender and this is against the equal employment law.

It is necessary that the company carefully revises the policies and makes sure that the managers or higher authorities who aren't following the policies diligently and if a complaint is raised against them by the employees then action needs to be taken.

It is important to plan effectively and the compliance plan should include hiring HR staff who has ample experience and skills for supporting the compliance process in an effective manner.

There should also be creation of HR policy manual and updating it regularly.

The handbook needs to fulfill the needs and expand it effectively.

The managers need to be trained and the policy manual needs to be updated.

It is important to listen to the employees and go to the root of the compliance risks and allow the employees to give feedback
