The psychodynamic approach to leadership study and development focuses on the dynamics of human behavior, that people are complex, unique, and inconsistent beings with rich and countless motivational drivers and decision-making and interaction patterns.Thus Freud believed the acting-out behaviors can be seen as “the royal road to an understanding of the unconscious” (Freud, 1900/1953, p. 608). So the leaders can motivate employees to work along with each other and better work.
