How is violence against the LGB community tied to the construction of gender?

Violence against the LGB community is tied to construction of gender. Gender based violence is referred to as the violence in which actions are restricted to the freedom of a person or their will. This may be in the form of sociocultural violence, physical violence or psychological violence. This violence is not only restricted against women, but it may also be against men. This has been observed more specifically in response to les-bian women or transgender women. LGB community is tied to gender based violence since the idea of only men and women being partners, had always prevailed. Now, when some people see individuals deviating from this set norm, they are unable to accept this deviation. As a result, they carry out homicidal violence, one physical assaults, discrimination in providing nursing interventions or medical assistance. This deviation from constructed gender ideologies lead to such violence.
