Structural organization:
Life processes of the human body are maintained at several levels of structural organization. These include the chemical, cellular, tissue, organ, organ system, and the organism level. Higher levels of organization are built from lower levels.
Different types of tissues:
In humans, there are four basic types of tissue: epithelial, connective, muscular, and nervous tissue. There may be various sub-tissues within each of the primary tissues. Epithelial tissue covers the body surface and forms the lining for most internal cavities.
Respiratory system:
The bronchioles end in tiny air sacs called alveoli, where oxygen is transferred from the inhaled air to the blood. ... The blood then is pumped through your body to provide oxygen to the cells of your tissues and organs. When cells use oxygen, carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) is produced and transferred to the blood.
