BIBLE is the holy book of christians.bible is the guide for faith and practice. but alas! so many of us are getting lost.bible is the powerful,life giving, life transforming and mind renewing source of god but people are becoming biblically illiterate

when people were asked how often they read bible outside the church only few answered that they read everyday.quarter answered they read few times a week and majority answered that they read only occasionally. which indicates that people don realise the positive vibes that they get if bible is read

reading bible is not enough, the the bigger problem is that we don not see the broader contapproach to reading the bible ext of what we read . its not our problem, the problem lies in the fact that the bible has been so fragmented ,dissected and compartmentalized that we have lost the sight of great overarching story. a unified approach to reading the bible is essential which can have a positive impact in our lives.god gave us his revealed word so that we might live and work in his world based on his design and desire in a way that glorifies him,serves the common god and furthers his kingdom

causes:

• people are so busy today that they do not have time to read bible
• segmentation of bible has resulted in biblical illiteracy as it results in lost of information
• illiteracy is also another problem
• worldy pleasures have so much accomodated in their lives that people dont feel the necessary to read bible to get solutions

solution to solve the problem :

• if illiteracy is the concern then they can visit the church daily and can hear the bible being read by others say, the pope.
• unified biblical narrative has the authority to help us withstand countervailing humanist narrative currently shaping our culture
• a unified approach to reading the bible is essential as it can bring positive impact in our lives to solve problems

my opinion:

having complete faith in one religion and ones god is important to tackle day to day problems faced.it brings positivity and happiness in our lives . if we put complete faith, god is sure to help us face obstacles as it brings insticts of positivity and self trust in our heart. reading bible daily creates a pure mind as it transforms life and brings about lots of positive and changes in life which can be beneficial in all the ways.thus holy books should be read daily. as it is the only way with which we can communicate with god in an efficient way.
