Explain how you think creativity affects advertising and if creative ads are always effective. Should brand strive towards creativity?
Yes, I do believe that creativity should be the focus of any advertisement. Even though this does not guarantee that an advertisement will be surely successful, this can be considered at least as a requirement in order to appeal to the interest of the people. Any new product requires convincing and any act of convincing requires interest, therefore, we can essentially say that in order to create an appealing advertisement, we need to be creative in order to peak the interest of the people and essentially allow the product to be considered a need more than a requirement.
Secondly, creativity allows a product to be differentiated from the competition, this is essentially what creates a brand value as well as product value for the people and allows the company to be able to capitalize on that. Therefore, all brands should strive towards creativity as means to achieve product placement as well as create product reception.
