(Answer) Awareness – It is imperative to create awareness in the community whenever there is an affliction that is to be tackled; either a community on social media, local bulletin or congregations like schools and churches. On the outbreak of a disease, measures for controlling the spread are amongst the foremost steps to be taken. In order to do so, a strong network of communication would have to be established between the people and authorities.
Assignment of Duties – When handling an emergency, the paramedics, firefighters, local authorities and committee members would need to assign duties in a professional and optimal manner. Therefore, at the time of a crisis, a troubled situation would be handled seamlessly.
Contributions – Time, money and effort would be the three biggest contributions from organisations, authorities and even the volunteers. To make sure preventive measures, vaccinations, health care, patient care and emergency assistance are all perfectly in place, these contributions are very necessary. Every member involved would need to properly assign themselves to duty whenever their contributions are duly required.
Management Committee – Clearly, disease and crisis management have several individuals and aspects that are involved. So as to not deal with too many chaotic situations or miscommunication, it is important to handle the operational team in a professional manner. Meetings about regular updates, duty rosters, accounts, assignment of duties, sponsorships, resources and communication would all need to be handled by a team of individuals who hold everything together.
Government Support – Even a small or medium operation for the benefit of the committee would have certain legalities and regulations at play. In order to manage such an issue on a community level, it would be essential to operate within the confines of government accreditation and regulations.
Patronage of Organisations – The foremost factor to help establish and manage such an undertaking would be finance provided by the members, organisations, insurance companies and non-profits. The accountants in the management committee would generally be responsible to come up with means to acquire the required finances and handle the ledgers.
