The storage in terms of human resources can be done base on the equipment or items needed for the organization and storage of the data or information regarding the consumer and the organization.
The important of storage includes
1. prevention from shortage
- The human resource management department should identify the needs of the organization which are frequently or rarely use items. There should be identified of the items which are more frequently used and there is need of a large amount to run the organization. These items are needed for the daily running of the organization. There should be the purchase of this kind of item first to prevent the shortage and run the organization in well manner.
2. For the future use of customer data
- the data of the consumer can be collected in the digital or paper form for future use. Mostly now most of the hospital practice digital storage of the consumer data. It is because the paper form of data storage need a physically large place to store them but for the digital storage there is need of computer only and it is easy to search the data on need anytime. The data will be store for a long period of time in the organization. Whenever anyone claims or the patient visit again the organization, the previously stored data can be easily identified and understand the previous history of the customer. So storage helps to get the previous data of the customers. But the only thing is that only authorize people should access the stored data.
3. Storage data can use for the evaluation of the organization
Evaluation of the data can be done base on the data store regarding the organization and the feedback data stored before. This kind of evaluation in mainly done to identify the quality of the facilities provided by the organization. It is very important to store the data properly for the evaluation or scrutiny of the organization whenever needed.

Staff appraisal is a very important activities in which the human resource department can be done for the encouragement of the staff members. For this, the appraisal can be given base on how much the activities or work of the particular staff is satisfied by the customer and supervisor. So it is all because of the proper storage of data.

The human resources department collects the profile or information of the employee of the organization and store in the system. This helps to understand the employee better and easy get the information the employee whenever needed. In this information include the demographic data, educational data, qualification, salary, number of absence or present. Storage helps in proper organization of the employee information in an organization.
