research the difference in cost and nutrition for restaurant food vs. a home cooked meal
Ans:
Nutrition: Homemade food is more nutritious
than the food cooked in the restaurant. Nowadays we are more
frequently eating fast food or meals outside the home and decrease
the intake of meals at home. So we consumed more calories from
restaurants foods and consumed fewer calories from the homemade
meal.
In upcoming years, the obesity epidemic is increasing so fast
because the people consumed more fast foods or ready to make food
or stepping out from home for their meal, which not much healthier
for our body.
According to the research of Julia A. Wolfson in public health, she
said that the people who cooked there food or meals in-home, they
consumed fewer carbohydrates, fewer fats and less sugar rather than
the people who eat foods or meal from restaurants. Those people who
eat and cooked foods at the home doesn't get obese and they not
trying to lose weight.
Another study state that the, when people consume food in the home
they take more Fibers, calcium, iron and different vitamins which
is very essential for our body but the people who rely on
restaurant food doesn't get rich sources of nutrition. And the
research also shows that the people who ate very frequently at home
consumed fewer calories, but the people frequently eating fast food
or meals outside the home consumed more calories.
Cooking foods in home prevent from many life-threatening diseases
like hypertension, diabetes, heart stroke and gastrointestinal
cancer. But eating meals from restaurants increase the accumulation
of fat in the blood vessel, obesity, increased blood pressure,
increased blood sugar level and causes constipation.
Homemade food is prepared from fresh veggies and nutritious
ingredients which is very useful for our body.
Cost: When people ate outside from home ie; in restaurants or fast food stores they expense more money than they prepared meals at home. In the restaurant, there are different charges added to your meals which is 5 times higher than the food ingredients which required to prepare a meal. Restaurants also include the accommodation charges in their bills. If we order food from the restaurant, they include delivery charges in their bills. So the restaurant food is more expensive than the food that cooked at home.
