Suggestion for operation an organic food restaurant

Product- Meal box that contains 1 big size Sandwich, 1 sachet sauce, 1 small fruit & vegetable salad box and 1 small coke
Target customers- University students
1. Research methodology- We have to research the number of students studying in the near by universities and colleges, specially those who come from different cities/states/countries. We can make the online questionnaire in which, we can include some 7-8 questions regarding their food habits, which type of sandwich they would like to prefer i.e cheese/veg/non-veg/grilled/mayonese etc. We can put the questionarrie online, it will have closed ended questions so that students may fill it easily.
2. Business/competitive strategy and operations strategy- After doing research, we will make the product according to the demand. We will position ourself as the food helper of students. We will keep the price of our meal box as low as possible to cope up with the competitors. We will also keep no margins or very low margins in the beginning.
3. Product definition and documentation- We will make a high quality product, when it comes to food item, it should be fresh and tasty so that students may not miss their home. Product will be in different varieties as per students' needs and want, We will make cheese, veg, non-veg, mayo and grilled sandwiches and seasonal fruits and vegetables in the box. This meal will be enough for one time.
4. Production/service process map- We will take orders in advance, for example in the morning to deliver in noon or evening and make the products according to the demand because we have to deliver the fresh products and we do not want any wastage.
5. Process analysis- Meal box will be delivered to their resident/hostel/flat. We will also take instant orders before 1 hour of delivery.
6. Shop’s location, layout with analysis- We will have virtual stores, we will make it a home delivery product initially, we will have few kitchens in different location with some manpower. We will tie up with food delivery companies to deliver our meal box.
7. Inventory management policy- We will not keep much inventory because items in meal box are the perishable items, we are promising to deliver fresh item so we will keep inventory of cheese, meat, potato, tomato, onion etc. on weekly basis while we will keep mayonese, chilli flakes, oregano, jalapeno on monthly basis. we will buy fruits three or four times a week according to demand.
8. Differentiation and advantage- This meal box has healthy items with good quality. Food is the thing that has demand. This will be hunger saviour for students.
9. Annual Financial return- We will achieve the Break even point in the beginning then after we will start achieving profit but we will keep the margins low because we are promising to provide quality food at low price. We expect 30% annual financial return.
