Resistances to change and techniques for reducing resistance to change.

Solutions

Expert Solution

Resistance to change is the step that the authorities and employees against the change that they think can threaten them and the organizations. Resistance is like a resistance in the forms of cancellation of sales, and the disagreements.

• Change in the organization creates an atmosphere of uncertainty and anxiety. The first step to reducing the resistance is to reduce the risks of uncertainty. The company can use the methods of forecasting so that they can anticipate the change well in advance. It will help them to take the necessary corrective actions.

• The second step is to ensure effective and efficient communication. Effective communication is a key to every issue in a company. The managers should communicate with their subordinates, and motivate them to trust the change, and adopt the change.

• The next important step is to form an efficient leadership team. Leadership is a process by which the leader supervises and motivates the team members to adopt the necessary change to benefit the company. It can also help in the development of the entire team.

• The last step is to empower the employees to adapt to the changing environment. The leader or manager should empower and motivate the employees, and the subordinates to feel that they are ready to adopt the change. Hence, these steps are useful to reduce the resistance to change.
