Stage Fright also calles as performance anxiety is the fear, anxiety or persistent phobia which generally arise in an individual by the requirement to perform in front of an audience. Stage Fright can play a negative role in business communication as an individual does not communicate in effective way what he plans to do. Fear is nothing, except our own created bundle of thoughts which in real doesn't exits.

The below mentioned few simple techniques can help in reducing the stage fright during business communication-

1. Breathe Deeply and Relax:

This sounds very general technique, but indeed this is the most effective way to control the fear and un-wanted thoughts going on inside an individual which cause stage fright. Relax before you go on stage, take some slow, deep breaths, so that by the time you get to the stage your breathing is relaxed.

2. Prepare your stuff in advance and practice twice-thrice:

Preparing the material in advance helps a lot in overcoming the nervesness at the spot. Sound knowlegde of the matter boost the confidence in the individual and helps in effective communication.

3. Learn to Improvise:

Though you must have knowledge of the subject matter in advance, but alongwith, one must be able to respond at the spot as well. Things are unpredictable, so learn to go with flow. This is one of the best technique for fighting with your own fear.

4. Focus on initial 5-10 minutes:

Just imagine that all picture is of 5-10 minutes only, this will make you less stressful. Focus over initial five minutes instead of getting through long hours' meeting.

Above are the key techniques which are more than enough to reduce the stage fright significantly.
