The five steps of the consumer buying process are: problem recognition, information search, evaluation of alternatives, purchase decision, and post purchase evaluation. Think of a large purchase you‘ve recently made. Did you follow the steps of the consumer buying process when deciding? Evaluate each step and discuss whether you passed through each step or stage during your purchase decision. If you did not, which steps were skipped and why?

The five steps of the consumer buying process includes : problem recognition, information search, evaluation of alternatives, purchase decision, and post purchase evaluation. Recently our led television of Sansui 40 “inches” has some technical problem.

Stage1:Problem Recognition

It was not working properly after some days when we have handed over to repairing services  we get aware about the problem that their is some panel defect and integrated circuits were already damaged. So there are less chances of coming into working condition. After recognising the problem we come to know that we should purchase another new television to avoid the problem.

Stage2: Information Search

After finding the problem, We decided to purchase new led television of 40 inches. Which have guarantee or warranty of atleast 3 years . So thereby we search for various companies televisions such as Samsung, Sony, Panasonic, Chroma and TCL. Which checked all of its prices and features.which provides best HD quality.

Stage3: Evaluation of alternatives

After gathering all the information about the various television we find Samsung and Sony Bravia has good features with all its specifications. But Samsung cost is expensive than than Sony Bravia. But both provide HD Quality and also Warranty provided by Samsung is for two years whereas Bravia provides warranty of 3 years.

Stage4: Purchase Decision

After evaluating all the alternatives, we choose Sony Bravia then we made the purchase as it provides 3 years warranty and have HD quality with all the features which upgraded version have in new era.

Stage5: Post Purchase decision

After purchasing the Sony Bravia led television, We get to know that it has many more added advantage of plugging pen drive into it so that we can explore more , it has many added advance features which earlier television do not have. In a very low cost of ₹40,000.

All over experience was good, we come to know about various new technologies and advance features. Me and my family were happy to bought this exclusive television of 40inches.
