Here the researcher wants to measure the wellness of a certain community, that means how much person is health enough. There are many factors which affects the wellness of persons
a) diet : diet plays an important role in wellness. It influences the level of physical fitness of a person
A balanced diet can make a person well enough.
b) Excercise level: regular Excercise is one of the most critical factor which affects physical fitness of an individual.
c) Stress level and Tension: it has a negative effect on wellness. If stress and Tension is high then wellness is low.
or more generally we can say that Blood pressure of the individual. A balanced pressure indicates that individual is almost stable
d) age : is a main factor affecting the wellness. As the age increases the more individual get low wellness due to many reasons some of them is stated above.
e) The body to mass ratio of individual
If this ratio is correct enough then the individual is almost fit.
f) sugar level in blood
g) height and weight
I) food habit : if the individual eats street food and fast food a lot, and if diet is not balanced then it may leads to many health problems. But if you eat nutritious food then it can mainly affect your wellness by physically.
k) work : if the work load is enough and there by stress increases this affect negatively on the wellness
Here The scientist and educational professional are working together to investigate whether population density, proportion of playground areas and average distance to grocery stores has an impact on community wellness. First off all treat the population density, proportion of playground area and average distance to grocery stores as variable because we carry out Statistical tests and procedures. Here 3 variables are qualitative in nature. And here we need to study if there is any relationship occur or exists between them. So for that the researchers need to collect samples of these 3 variables from the population where we want to carry out this study or to study the relationship . Then run the regression . Since 3 variables are qualitative we can use regression analysis where we can find the type of relationship and cause and effect relationship , the relationship may be linear, quadratic ...etc depending on the relationship. Here community wellness is the dependent variable.
Here we want or require if there is any impact on community wellness by these 3 variables, ie the type of relationship exists between them we use regression analysis.
