Ans.Concept of survivorship:-A survivorship is the number or proportion individuals surviving to each for a given species or group eg:-males or females .survivorship curves can be constructed for a given cohort based on life table.

Type 1:-Individuals survive well early in life and generally live many years.at an advanced age,the death rate increases dramaticalli.eg:-large mammals.

Type 2:-Individuals have a death rate that is relatively constant at any age.eg:-lizards,hydra,and some small animals.

Type 3:-Individuals initially have a rather low chance of survival .those that do survive may live to an advanced age.eg:-many fish and other marine organisms.

THREE TYPES OF POPULATION DISPERSION:-Individuals of population can be spaced in different ways called dispersion patterns.in uniform dispersion individuals are evenly spaced. in random dispersion individuals are randomly arranged .the most common spatial arrangement is clumped dispersion ,in which individuals are clustered together.

TWO FACTORS AFFECTING POPULATION GROWTH:-

BIRTH RATE:-It is the average number of the children bore in a country compared to the rest of population .in other words it is the number of births for every 1000 people in the country .increases in population is directly related to birth rate of the country.

DEATH RATE:-Death rate is the number of people who die every year compared to 1000 people in the population.
